Building Resilience in a VUCA World

Executive Coaching

I am an International Coach Federation (ICF) Professional Certified Coach (PCC), and a certified practitioner of a range of psychometric tools for Emotional Intelligence, career progression and transformation.

Coaching

The International Coach Federation defines coaching as “partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximise their personal and professional potential.” My coaching style is challenging, empowering and self-directed.  Clients frequently leverage my continued research in the fields of resilience and emotional intelligence from my training programs to enable us to blend the challenges of today with the goals of tomorrow to enable coaching to manifest results quicker, better, faster and simpler. Leaders in the 21st century are required to make decisions faster with less information, and my genuine interest and positive views on AI and how technology is evolving means I can readily understand and appreciate the polarity being managed by my executive coaching clients.
I abide by strict ethical guidelines regarding confidentiality, enabling clients to experiment, fail fast and learn quickly in a secure environment. Most of my coaching is virtual i.e. I use technology to connect during sessions as well as in between. In many productive coaching engagements, my clients and I never actually meet in person, and it makes no difference to the levels of success achieved as an outcome of the coaching relationship. All are my clients are unique with different needs therefore coaching engagements are bespoke and customised to complement organisational and individual objectives over the duration of 3-6 months. Ad hoc coaching is available for specific goals as well as in support of psychometric tools.

Psychometric Tools

EQ-i 2.0 and EQ 360

The EQ-i2.0 is a 133-question self-assessment that explores the frequency of and role that sixteen different elements of emotional well-being play in your life. Through extensive research, the areas of self-perception, self-expression, interpersonal, decision making, and stress management related behaviors make up the key dimensions of this assessment. In alignment with EQ-i2.0 is the Emotional Quotient 360 (EQ 360), an emotional intelligence assessment that allows leaders to receive feedback from peers, managers, direct reports, and others on how they leverage their emotional intelligence.

Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) Step I and Step II

The Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is an introspective self-report questionnaire used to indicate psychological preferences in how people perceive the world around them and make decisions. No preference or type is considered better or worse than another, and people are always considered the best judge of their own type, making the MBTI tool a positive catalyst towards learning and self-awareness. The MBTI was constructed for normal populations and emphasises the value of naturally occurring differences. The underlying assumption of the MBTI is that we all have specific preferences in the way we construe our experiences, and these preferences underlie our interests, needs, values, and motivation.

The Strong Interest Inventory® assessment provides robust insight into a person’s interests, and is a useful guide in considering potential careers, options regarding education and the world of work. Built on psychologist John Holland’s theory, it’s backed by more than 80 years of research into how people of similar interests are employed, and what motivates individuals in the workplace.
